High rigidity/Strong aluminum tail boom
CCPM version, new aluminum parts for prompt, precision actions.
High Quality A-Graded 325mm Carbon Fiber Blades
Upgraded Powerful Alpha Brushless Motor 3500KV
Volcano 30A Electronic Speed Controller
Professional Head-Lock Gyro
New longer 3K battery mounting plate connects to main frame. It makes the center of gravity closer to rotor blade, and can adjust the center of gravity according to the weight of battery, which reduces the correction when the heli is rolling.
Rigid CNC aluminum rotor head for precision and smooth movements.
Tail rotor hub made of stainless steel, very rigid.
Use 35pcs precision bearings.
Great stability and sensitive mixing lever design! Can display great stability and precision for 3D flight.
Special adjustable pitch system, hold rotation system, and tail rotor drive belt system! It is a work of great originality for an RC helicopter!
Using a new Main rotor holder with thrust bearing and 4mm Feathering shaft, featuring smooth rotation and stability under high rotation speed.
Using Ball and Hiller (two systems) of mixing control. Through simple structure of Ball control system, power-saving of Hiller system and CCPM control. It can simultaneously control 3 servos for AILE, ELEV, PITCH actions. This CCPM control system is great for 3D flying control and extending life cycle of servos.
New c.g. amended tail blades feature streamlined and quick thus making the gyro more efficient.
Tail rotor control set with dual bearings, features CNC control piece and smooth structure design to get smoothest pitch travel.
Providing fly bar weights- When normal flying, you can add the weights on fly bar paddles for stable flight. When aerobatic flying, you don’t need to add the weight, but you can see the flexibility of 3D actions.
CNC tail pulley assembly and tail holder are using high rigid aluminum alloy, features wear resistant and failing resistance.
New gear ratio(4.24:1), suitable for the motor with higher KV thus providing more safety.
Uses new high strength ball links and stainless steel linkage balls on the whole unit, feature wear resistance, anti-oxidization.
Stay tuned for more (3D flying) when the weather gets better. Please subscribe and thanks for watching.

25 Comments on ““PROFESSIONAL GRADE” Blue Ray Heli Review by: NightFlyyer”
what are those orange things? they look like weights but i could be wrong
I don’t see how anyone could think I was referring to Dave and the Blue ray. I didn’t say “is what you” I said the guy and then gave the title to the video which clearly isn’t the title to this video. It doesn’t matter I don’t guess, it was just a simple question that I now regret asking.
I think that Dave thought you were refering to him as the guy, just the same as i did until i re-read your question again.
This makes sense as he says maybe he faked it.
I honestly think that he has a phenomanal amount of comments and PMs to read through and prolly just mis-read the same as i did.
I just try to say what i see, no hard feelings Lee.
I actually think he thought I was referring to him as “the guy” in the other video. Thinking I was suggesting that the blue ray would not do what this video showed. I thought the title to the other video would give away I was referring to the other video/other pilot and not dave and the blue ray.
I thought it was a simple question and I’m pretty sure he knew what I meant. 3D flying interests me and all I wanted to know was if what that guy was doing was hard to do. I knew Dave would know how to do it so I thought I’d ask. I have now learned Dave does not like to be bothered. Also the chopper in the vid is a lot more expensive than the blue ray and I like the blue ray better, just wanted to know if the blue ray would do that? I swear I never intended to piss anyone off.
Sorry for 3 Comments in a row lol, but at the end you said stay tuned for part 2, are you still planning on a part 2 dave?
Lee
Wow this looks a very impressive Heli for the money, would you say its a better choice than the Blade 400 as a next step after the HoneyBee FixedPitch. I dont plan on flying it until i can fly the HBFP with my eyes closed
Cheers Lee.
Hey Dave, i think you misunderstood as the person didnt type his question very well.
I think he was trying to ask you if what the guy was doing in the video he wrote about was hard to do and asking if the bird you are reviewing will do the same as the one in the video he stated.
He linked the title of the video as the id from the browser window was superlong.
Think you both got crossed wires as the person didnt explain very well.
P.S I am already looking for my next heli from the HBFP lol
Why are you being so hateful? It was just a question. I know absolutely nothing about 3d helicopters so I thought I’d ask. No need to be so offensive, I wasn’t suggesting the guy was a better pilot or that his helicopter was better. Sorry to have bothered you and I’ll be unsubscribing now so not to bother you in the future. Have a good day.
This “guy” finds this quite easy, simple heli flying as they all are.
And of course this heli will do that. Maybe I faked it?
Your title is even longer and they (including the Gaui) are all made by the same company.
Your point?
Check the link out in the description box. It is not anywhere as high as the list price of $799, as I see today.
Is what this guy is doing as hard as it looks and will this chopper do that? The id is very long, the title is
Gaui Hurricane 200SD Mini-Trex RC Helicopter – 3D HARDCORE
how much is it?????????
Whatever. Ive been flying 50 years and so far, I have not had any trouble with anything from xheli. Your friends may be right, and I know the radios are not Futabas, but never the less I am having my share of good luck and never blame my radios for crashes.
I have a video on the Blade 400. check it out. Thanks for the kind words and good luck.
youre great! thats what i call PILOT! this heli looks sooo good!, i hope you write about blade 400 and setup the dx6i, i have many friends with this heli and all are new pilots, (yeah, we look like monkeys triyng to drive a car!) thanks! a hug from your friend in mexico city Horacio
got a new axe cpl for 115.00 with shipping from tower hobby they have some good deals. and you can get parts at most hobby shops. 6 flights so far no crash.
all the guys at the flying field like twenty five of them been flying helis for years.and all of them say they wouldnt buy a heli from x heli.they said the electrontics are junk.
Like I said, they are all made by the same company and licensing them for others to sell this is a better way of marketing, for the distributors. Winstons look just like Marlboros too as there is only so many ways to make a helicopter.
Yeah I Picked up this heli and have already been able to hover well with it and I owe that to the simulator. I have had one real crash on it though and that actually stripped one of the servos gears. Not too bad to fix and even though i slammed the blades pretty hard on the ground they didnt come up with a scratch. All-in-all I’d say this was a good purchase.
Benjy,
I started in this hobby with a Blade CP but its impossible to fly and expensive to fix (i was looking at $50 a crash, the think would xplode!) I practiced in real flight G3 until i could hover the thing, then i got a helicopter like this. I was kicking myself for not starting out with it, It was extremely easy to hover and fly, when i PILE it into the ground it would only cost 1-30 USD!!! I would recommend starting with something like this for it will be more enjoyable and cheaper overall
looks like the two latest helis you’ve got is copies of walkera 4#3 and t-rex 450 se v2
I get lots of helicopters and planes sent to me to test. Not rich, but worked hard all my life to get a few toys now that I am retired. LOL.
Thanks. Yes its a sweet flier. Cant wait til spring so these old cold fingers can wring it out.
Are you rich lol…. Your always gettingfun new toys lol
