  i’m trying to see those example photos from the menu, but the option that says White Balance is greyed out and un-clickable! it says AUTO next to it, and i can’t seem to figure out why it’s un-clickabe. please help me out! great, in-depth review!

  If you google search for ‘Nikon D40 manual PDF’ you should find an english version. Check out our sister site dslrtips . com for advice on technique!

  I GOT ONE FOR CHRISTMAS! but the instructions are in spanish so i have no freaking idea what to do o.O thanks for the tutorial though!

  Yep, put it to Auto or Program and it’s fully automatic.

  I use a 8 Gig SDHC. Works like a charm.
