I’ve got no laptop and it’s breaking my heart-but I’ve got a carry case and that’s a start! When I break down and buy a laptop, I’ll be set to travel with this briefcase by Caselogic.
This baby is well built and LARGE. It will easily fit any wide screen laptop. Pockets, zippers and straps galore. It is fairly heavy and with a big laptop in there it will be darn near a suitcase but let’s face it- you wouldn’t have bought a widescreen laptop if you weren’t prepared to sacrifice portability for a full size keyboard and screen you can actually see. I like the way it is designed so the top doesn’t open all the way. I think this could keep your computer from falling out if you happened to pick it up without it being zipped closed.
All in all I think this would do a great job of protecting a large laptop.

This bag is for larger laptops, of which I do not have. So for a while I was pondering whether or not to post a review since not having the right size would make for an awkward review. One day, I was moving some of my art equipment, and one of them being an Wacom Intuos4 Large Pen Tablet . It was then I realized I had a purpose for this review. I’ve had the question pop up asking for cases that will carry the large tablet and protect it. This is your product. You can fit a laptop and the Intuos4 Large tablet in this bag, however, given the weight I’d be careful – it would total around 7-10lbs.
The case itself is rather average in terms of protection, no different than most laptop bags out there. It does have a nice little Velcro pocket to protect your laptop, in this case I’d put my intuos4 in it. It also has some inner pockets perfect for passport or converted notebook usb drives. I will use this the next time I go to a trip via plane and update the review as to how well this passes for carry-on.

This is one of the only few bags that will fit my 18.4 inch laptop. This is very nicely constructed! I really like it.

For once I am not afraid to drop my laptop bag…. At least if I do, I wont have to worry about it damaging my laptop with this bag.
